How It Works
The BPS Marine 24V Pro Series utilizes the same proven technology as our 12V units to protect marine surfaces from biofouling, just with enhanced power for larger or more demanding applications. Our ultrasonic systems employ ultrasound waves to limit and restrict the ability of microorganisms to attach to surfaces exposed to water. These ultrasonic waves are transmitted through the vessel's structure, creating an ultra-thin layer of high pressure at the interface between the protected surface and the surrounding water. This high-pressure zone effectively prevents microorganisms from attaching.
